Modimolle is famous for its export grapes and soft fruits such as peaches and watermelons, while other important products include cattle, game, peanuts, and maize.

 

With a pleasant climate of hot summers and moderate winters, Modimolle is a year-round holiday destination, popular for its birds, wildlife and hiking routes.
